Interview last year

This was a fun day late last year with the folks from the local Fox New affiliate. I forget that folks are interested and make more of the space than I do. Me .... I'm always looking at what I have done and thinking "There's lots more I can do here." So far I've worked on straw-bale gardening, hugelkulture, aquaponics, intensive hoop house growing .... phew!

This month I am working hard on the field beds to ensure I can quickly follow my August to December planting plan. So far so good. First set of beets, cabbages, and green mix have gone in. I'm not so pleased with the indoor germination rate of my lettuces. The summer bibb varieties just don't seem to be doing well in the basement area. Temperature is around 75F which just may be a little too high.
