As a local grower and participant in The Corner Farmers Market, as part of the goal of helping folks cope with the current CoVid-19 pandemic I am supporting advance ordering through this website for pickup on Saturday morning at the market.
You can download the file below to see my current list of products.
You can then call me on
to order and arrange for payment for pickup on Saturday morning.
You can find my item ordering at my Square site. Its a work in progress to make all this happen so please bear with me.
You can find us EVERY Saturday till 12 noon at the corner of Walker and Elam Avenue at The Corner Farmer's Market.
I recently confirmed a suspicion, thanks to the folks in the local Agricultural Extension Office, that I am the leader in urban agriculture in Greensboro. Weird. A state with a long tradition of agriculture, excellent soils to work from, temperate climate, and plenty of folks interested in food.
Either I am an anomaly (OK, so that one is a given), or
I need to find some more friends in the city and get them to DO urban agriculture. Anyone interested? Seriously, I could do with some company. Makes life much more interesting.
I wonder if a craigslist advert is required
Wanted Urban Farmers looking to build a local food production infrastructure that not only feeds your family but others in the city. Help expand the economic life of Greensboro "through production, processing, packaging, and marketing of consumable products." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urban_agriculture)
